Barcelona

With over 300 km of bike lanes, Barcelona is a city best explored on two wheels, making this tour an easy and enjoyable way to take it all in.
Beyond its beaches and nightlife, Barcelona is known for its Modernist heritage, where bold, imaginative architecture shapes the city’s character. As you ride through its streets, you’ll pass some of Antoni Gaudí’s most remarkable works, including the flowing lines of Casa Milà and the striking façade of Casa Batlló, before arriving at the Sagrada Familia, whose scale and detail continue to define the skyline.
The route balances iconic landmarks with quieter moments: cycling beneath the Arc de Triomf, through the greenery of Parc de la Ciutadella, and out toward the coastline, where the pace slows and the sea air sets in.
Led by your host, the experience offers a well-rounded view of Barcelona, combining architecture, open spaces and the rhythm of the city into one smooth, engaging ride.

Barcelona

Your Discover Europe Barcelona host welcomes you to the city and leads you through the atmospheric, narrow streets of the Old Town, sharing a local perspective along the way.
As you explore, you’ll come across layers of Barcelona’s history, from Barcino, the city’s Roman origins, to the remains of the Temple of Augustus, where the foundations of the city were first established. The route continues through King’s Square and City Hall Square, past the Gothic Cathedral and other landmarks that reflect the character and evolution of the historic centre.
To round off the experience, you’ll climb the bell tower of the 15th-century Basilica of Santa Maria del Pi, where a quieter moment awaits above the city, along with sweeping views across Barcelona.
